Lesly Gatton
National Trainer, Tissue Recovery

Lesly Gatton is a Recovery Partner Director at Solvita. Prior to this role, she served as the National Trainer for tissue recovery. She is a Certified Tissue Banking Specialist and has more than 10 years of experience in tissue banking. Lesly earned her Master of Science degrees in Physiology and Biophysics from the University of Louisville School Of Medicine and attended Wake Forest University for her undergraduate education. She is committed to improving the quality of tissue recoveries and maximizing tissue donors’ gifts to improve and save the lives of recipients.

Emily Carter
Manager, Donor Services
LeMaitre Vascular, Inc.
Emily L. Carter, CTBS, CEBT, is the Senior Account Manager for Donor Services at LeMaitre, Inc. Based in Salem, Massachusetts, she has steadily advanced her career in tissue recovery since 2015. Emily is an active member of the AATB community, contributing to the AATB RADE council and Education Committee, with a focus on providing diverse educational resources. Her current role spans the nation, where she oversees cardiovascular field training, tissue partner webinars, and serves as a vital link between tissue leaders and recovery teams. With a diverse medical background, Emily excels in communication with all stakeholders in the organ, eye and tissue donation industry.

Liza Egekeze
Quality Assurance Manager
LeMaitre Vascular, Inc.
Liza Egekeze, Quality Assurance Manager with LeMaitre Vascular, Inc., is a Registered Nurse, with a Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration, from Aurora University, in Aurora, Illinois. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Liza has 7 years of clinical nursing experience, providing holistic patient care to adult patient populations in medical-surgical, telemetry, and cardiac diagnostics units. She joined the tissue banking industry in 2014, working with Restore Flow Allografts, as a donor chart auditor. Liza joined LeMaitre in November of 2016 and currently serves as Manager of the Quality Assurance department. Liza is passionate about utilizing her clinical and leadership experience and skills in promoting and ensuring compliance with quality management systems and good tissue practices as established by the FDA and AATB.
