Description: This webinar will discuss the eligibility of prospective donors that have a known malignancy or are found at autopsy to have an incidental, previously undetected malignancy. The potential risks to a recipient of tissue from these donors will be discussed as well as how to evaluate prospective donors for eligibility.
Target Audience: The target audience is individuals is screening donors for eligibility and persons involved in donor chart review including physician and non-physician reviewers.

Dr. Thompson has been medical director at AlloSource for over 17 years. He is actively involved with the Physician's Council and was chair for two 2 year terms. He has served on other AATB committees including the Standards committee and the emerging infectious subcommittee of the STAC. His primary role at AlloSource is reviewing donor records to determine donor eligibility.
