This practical webinar will walk you through the recertification process, including CEU requirements, recertification fees, important deadlines, and navigating the AATB portal. Chas MacKenzie is a member of the Tissue Donation Services (TDS) leadership team at New England Donor Services. Chas supervises the Hospital Development Strategist (TDS) team maintaining collaborative relationships with 105 smaller service area hospitals. Chas also supervises the funeral home & medical examiner manager for all New England states. Chas is responsible for planning, development, implementation and evaluation of strategic donation development activities in support of the vision, goals and objectives of New England Donor Services for maximizing organ and tissue donation.  Chas began his work in organ and tissue donation at Hartford Organ Procurement Organization as an organ and tissue recovery specialist in 1992.

Linzy Wolman, CTBS, is the Donor and Family Services Manager at Donor Alliance (DA), which is the federally designated OPO and AATB accredited tissue bank for all of Colorado and most of Wyoming.  She oversees the day-to-day operations of the Donor and Family Coordinators-Tissue, both on the screening process and family approach conversations.  She has been with Donor Alliance for twelve years and began her career at DA as a Donor and Family Coordinator.  Linzy transitioned into the Funeral Services Liaison position in 2016 and helped build a foundation for the role, to better support the DSA funeral service professionals and build collaborative relationships within the end-of-life industry and donation process; she has been on the leadership team for the last five years. Linzy has been in the end-of-life industry, for 20+ years.  Prior to DA, she was a Medicolegal Death Investigator at the Boulder County Coroner’s Office and started her career at ScienceCare, an accredited NADO organization.  Linzy is CTBS certified, a current member of the AATB Donor Family Services Council, AATB/CTBS Certification Committee, and non-voting member of the AATB Standard's Committee.

Haydee Barno is the Director of Education at the Association for Advancing Tissue and Biologics (AATB), where she oversees the management and execution of educational programs, including the AATB Congress, online education and Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) program. Prior to joining AATB, Haydee served as the Director of Education at the American College of Clinical Pharmacology, a professional society dedicated to advancing clinical pharmacology and providing educational initiatives for members, the broader clinical pharmacology community, and the public. In that role, she directed the planning and delivery of the society’s continuing medical and pharmacy education programs.

With over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector, Haydee has held a variety of leadership positions in continuing education and certification programs. She holds a law degree from Universidad Americana of Managua (UAM) and an MBA from Strayer University in Washington, DC, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
