Description: During April, we celebrate Donate Life Month and Kids Transplant Week. In this special webinar, a donor family will share their story of generosity, and a young transplant recipient and their family will share the second chance that made it possible for their child to grow, play, and simply be a kid again. Together, their voices remind us that behind every transplant is a selfless decision, and behind every decision, a life is transformed.
Target Audience: This webinar is designed for tissue banking professionals across recovery, processing, distribution, quality, and compliance functions, as well as donor services coordinators, family support personnel, authorization specialists, and donor coordinators.

Charlie Watts
Charlie Watts, a Ewing’s sarcoma survivor and bone graft recipient, and his mother Jessica Watts are passionate advocates for organ and tissue donation and childhood cancer awareness. After Charlie’s diagnosis and life-saving surgery using a donated bone graft, their family experienced firsthand the power of donation to restore health and hope. Today, Charlie is cancer-free and active, while Jessica shares their story to support other families and honor donor heroes. Together, they use their journey—and the message “#FightCharlieFight”—to inspire others and raise awareness about the life-changing impact of saying yes to donation.
