Description: A subgroup of the Standards Committee has proposed extensive changes to standards related to distribution, tissue distribution intermediaries, and tissue distribution services. These Committee has endorsed these changes, and they will be presented for Council comment soon. Join this webinar to hear from the subgroup members about these changes and their rationales.

Target Audience: The target audience includes tissue bank professionals, quality and regulatory affairs personnel, and distribution specialists involved in tissue handling and compliance. It is also relevant for Standards Committee members, accreditation professionals, and others interested in upcoming changes to distribution-related standards and their implementation.

Mr. Sindaco joined AATB in 2023 as Director of Standards. Prior to joining AATB, he spent 18 years at the United States Pharmacopeia, heading operations for standards and serving as Executive Secretariat to the Council of Experts. He initially joined USP’s quality department after holding various operations, quality, and regulatory affairs leadership positions in the blood and clinical laboratory industries. Mr. Sindaco earned a B.A. in Biology from Franklin and Marshall College, an M.S. in Pharmaceutical Policy and Regulation from the University of Florida, and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
