3D Bioprinting Skin Tissue Models
Isabella Bondesson, CELLINK Tissue Engineer, will present her team's work on the development of skin tissue modes and the significant benefits they can bring to the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and medical industries. She will also discuss the challenges the team faced and the solutions they came up with.
• Where to start and how to develop a skin model
• Selecting the right biomaterials
• Post bioprinting processes
Isabella Bondesson, MS
Isabella Bondesson is a biotechnology engineer with a focus on tissue engineering. She joined CELLINK in spring 2018 as a Skin Tissue Engineer within the Science and Applications R&D Team after finishing her master’s thesis at Chalmers University of Technology (Gothenburg, Sweden). Her work has been dedicated to exploring bioprinting of skin tissue models, including optimization of the design, development of the bioink compositions and investigation of the cellular behavior in different conditions of 3D bioprinted skin models.
