Sara Ham
Tissue Supervisor
Sara Ham is a dedicated healthcare professional with over 12 years of experience in the medical field. Currently serving as a Tissue Supervisor at Mid America Transplant, she has spent the past three years overseeing tissue recovery operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading teams to enhance donation outcomes. Prior to this role she held the role of Tissue Team Lead and Tissue Ocular Procurement Coordinator.

Sheldon W. Dean, III, CTBS
Sheldon Dean was born in New Jersey. He graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with both a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering. After college and prior to Tissue Banking, he worked in the Agricultural Chemical industry for about 10 years. Twenty-two years ago, he joined the staff at Osteotech (now Medtronic) and has held several positions there including Manufacturing Engineer, Design Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Quality Engineer, Quality Engineering Manager, and now also Tissue Bank Director. Sheldon has been a member of the AATB Standards Committee since 2014.

Jennifer Drago, CTBS, CQM/OE, CQA
Executive Director
Advanced Quality Resources
Jennifer Drago is the Executive Director of Advanced Quality Resources. She has over 15 years of combined experience in Quality and Regulatory Affairs in blood banking, medical devices, and tissue and organ procurement. She has served as the AATB Quality Council leadership since 2017 and has participated as a member of the Quality Council Change Control Subgroup. Jen is a CTBS, Certified Quality Auditor, a Certified Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence, and has her Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.
