Establishing a Birth Tissue Program

Through this session, Nevada Donor Network will present their challenges, experiences, and process in establishing a birth tissue acquisition program in their service area.

Audra Holmes, CTBS

Audra Holmes is the Birth Tissue Donation Coordinator at Nevada Donor Network and has established Nevada Donor Network’s new Birth Tissue Donation Program. Prior to moving into this role, Audra was a Hospital Services Liaison at Nevada Donor Network cultivating collaborative relationships with hospital staff and providing education on the organ and tissue donation process. Audra’s passion for the field of organ and tissue donation was ignited during her eight years in the Transplant Information Center at Gift of Life Donor Program working as an In-House Coordinator and TIC Team Leader. Audra obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from The Pennsylvania State University and is currently working on her Master of Business Administration with a Project Management Concentration at Louisiana State University Shreveport.
