Beverly Bliss has been part of the donation community for over 30 years with more than 20 years in a leadership position. Ms. Bliss worked for the American Red Cross for 25 years beginning her tissue banking career in the sciences of regenerative medicine but found her passion helping families fulfill their wishes to give the gift of donation by ensuring excellence in tissue recovery practices. Ms. Bliss joined AATB in 2018 as VP Accreditation and Standards after 12 years of leading the RTI Donor Services organization. During her 30 year journey, Ms. Bliss has performed tissue banking functions including recovery, authorization, processing, Lean process improvement and gained experience in quality systems auditing as a State of Florida Sterling Examiner. Ms. Bliss is focused on developing future tissue bankers through mentorship and collaboration while working toward engaging all tissue bankers in a culture of quality practices.
