Dr. Jonathan Page is currently a Technical Specialist at BSI. Before this position he was a Sr. Project Engineer at NuVasive. He has worked to commercialize a novel bone graft with an international supply chain by leading the development team from ideation to launch. Additionally, he has been an acting subject matter expert in metal 3D printing, where he has assisted from idea to commercialization of spine implants. Prior to working at NuVasive Dr. Page was working in Research and Development at MicroPort, a large joint reconstruction company based in the U.S. specializing in minimally invasive surgical solutions. While at MicroPort Dr. Page primarily focused on transitioning a metal foam manufacturing line to additive manufacturing. Dr. Page has a PhD in Chemical and Molecular Engineering from Vanderbilt University, where he focused on polymer synthesis, composite development, 3D printing, and nano-particle based drug delivery. He also holds a Masters in Polymer Engineering and a Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering (with a Material Science Minor), both from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
